Our History: The Competitive Foot was
started in 1974 with one store in Western Springs and then the Oak Park store followed in 1977. At the time it was unheard
of to have a store only carrying athletic shoes. The Competitive Foot was the first athletic shoe store in Illinois!
Services
We Offer: We
fit every customer by measuring both feet, studying the arches, and analyzing their gait to determine the best footwear for
their needs. Customers may take the footwear up the street and back to "test-drive" it, weather permitting.
